Indigo, or as we got accustomed to calling her, “Yoda” when she was pregnant. Because she would be nowhere near you, then suddenly she was at your leg. This happened very often. Seems as a pregnant doe, she became super stealthy. She could sneak up on you very quietly. Hardly ever makes noise, she has turned into a very good mother. Also a great milk producer, we would often cycle the third of other does onto her to milk as she seemed to always have milk. Unlike Saturn, we rarely had to try to fool her. Her only rule it seemed was that she was also milking one of hers.
When she was pregnant, we were all kinds of excited to see what kind of coloring her babies were going to have, as she has a rare blueish grey coat. Well that mystery was solved January the third, when she gave birth to three all white babies. Faith, Joy and Frostbite. So much for colors. They are all cute though, so our disappointment was short lived, as we thought she was the only pregnant goat. Others would soon have varying colored goats.
