Saturn, the baby-sitter, mother to Lucky. Surrogate to Annie. Currently adopted Timmy. Watched over all the babies when mothers went out to browse. Saturn is a sweet goat that pretends to not like some of the goats, when in reality she is one of the nicest goats in the herd. She is probably the Matriarch of the herd to be honest. Almost always brings up the rear when the goats go out. At first we though it was because she was old, but after watching her, we noticed she always checks to make sure all goats are going out, before she follows. We noticed recently that Timmy always seemed to be with her and Lucky in the mornings. Seems Saturn always has room for one more. Whenever she was nursing Lucky, we would sometimes put someone else’s third baby on her to nurse, we thought we were fooling her, but she was just helping out an overcrowded mother.
