Tetris

Tetris is one of the sweetest goats in the herd. She is the head referee, and surrogate mother to Moon. She was previously a show goat for her prior owner, and is one of the first goats to greet you when you visit the herd. Although with all the new babies from last winter, the number of greeters is growing.

One of the thing you can not have around Tetris is exposed shoe laces. She will untie your shoes seconds after walking up to you. We have found that tucking them in behind the lace holes in our boots has stopped the constant re-tying. Sweatshirt hood strings are also in play, and you will find yourself with green slime on those too if not dilligent about tucking. Venus is the other untier.

Tetris was originally the number three goat in the herd, behind Bailey and Orchis, but her role seems to have changed as we are now not sure if the herd needs an upper command structure. Goats, being as happy an animal as they are, are generally content as long as they are not being bullied. Most of the skirmishes are the result of hormones during the female goats 21 day cycle. You can imagine with 24 females, there is always someone in a “mood”.

Tetris also does not say anything to us. I actually don’t know what her voice sounds like. While some of the goats are quite vocal, Tetris is one of the quietest.
